GREEN CONSTRUCTION

Green Construction is the philosophy which focuses on increasing the efficiency of resource use while reducing building impacts on human health and the environment during the building's lifecycle. The U.S. Green Building Council provides guidelines and training to architects, developers and contractors on environmentally sensitive construction. The non-profit group, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, or LEED, has been the industry standard for determining whether a green building is Earth-friendly to the core. Olympic Construction LLC is committed to the concepts developed by the LEED organization and the U. S. Green Building Council. These organizations provide leadership, education and guidance for us to implement green building practices. As general contractors, we know the “green” benefits for our business and for our customers.
